Traffic Control Person

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct traffic to ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles

  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, such as cones and barricades

  • Communicate with drivers using two-way radios

  • Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed

  • Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations

  • Report any accidents or incidents

Job Requirements

  • (An Asset) Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Ticket

  • (Required) Valid Canadian Driver’s License (L not accepted)

  •  (Required) Available for On Call work

  • (An Asset) H2S, First Aid, & CSO

  • (Required) Reliable transportation to head office

  • (Required) Ability to stand for long periods.

  • (Required) Willingness to work outside in summer & winter conditions.

  • (Required) Ability to Lift up to 30lbs.

  • (Required) Legally allowed to work in Canada.

  • (Required) Applicants must be safety oriented, reliable and available for 24/7 on-call work.
