DO TRAFFIC CONTROL TICKETS FROM OTHER PROVINCES ALLOW ME TO CONTROL TRAFFIC IN BRITISH COLUMBIA?
No, you must hold a valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person ticket to control traffic in British Columbia.

DO I NEED A PERMIT TO CLOSE A ROAD THAT IS MAINTAINED BY THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE?
Yes, all works require permits and pre-approval. There are exclusions for certain maintenance contractors.
I DON'T HAVE MY FLAGGING TICKET YET, CAN I START WORK FLAGGING?
No, you must hold a valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person ticket to control traffic in British Columbia.
CAN YOU DO A TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN AND PERMIT APPLICATION FOR ME AND WORK TOMORROW?
Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) and the Municipality usually require 5-7 business days minimum for permit requests. We recommend that you submit your TCP request to us at least two weeks before your planned start of the work date. This will allow adequate time for your permit and TCPs to be created, submitted, reviewed, and approved. Call us to walk you through the process and help you get your permits.
